Christmas Eve

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

Feeling really really pissed right now because I was half done with my post and google chrome just crashed on me. Have to start the post all over again sigh. Here's what I did on my Christmas Eve. Caught The Hobbit over at Cineleisure's Platinum Movie Suites. It was my first time there and when I entered the Hall, I understood why a ticket costs almost $40. There was dividers behind each seat which was a pretty good installation because you can't see anyone infront or behind of you so there's no one blocking your view and also the viewers at the back cannot sneak a peek at what you're doing with your phone in the movies :x Anyway, the movies was so draggy I almost gave up halfway. The Twilight Saga had 4 books which was made into 4 movies while the Hobbit has only 1 book which was made into 2 movies, with the third and most possibly fourth part to come.

Had a huge craving for Caramel Popcorn but it was sold out so I had the Whipped Potato with Sausages and Strawberry Soda while D had the platter and a cup of ice chocolate. Both tasted pretty good and the price was quite affordable in my opinion. Food pix were taken under the dim light on the table during the movie and I am pretty proud of how the pictures came out *self praises*

Met with Ivan and his girlfriend after the show and walked around while deciding where to eat at. Was pretty tempted to eat at a steamboat restaurant at Triple One but all of us weren't hungry so we settled for Hot Tomato at 313 Somerset.

I read the reviews of the restaurant a few months back and had a pretty high expectation of the place. Ordered the Rib-eye which was accompanied by a small serving of pasta. Don't be fooled by the appetising looking food, I ordered medium well because I wanted the meat to be juicy and easy to cut and also without the blood at the same time but this piece of meat, I was literally trying to saw through it. The outer was stiff and hard and the inside is actually slightly bloody. All in all, the meat was inconsistent and disgusting. The pasta was pretty ok though. But the sauce was really weak. The soup was served AFTER we were done eating because they forgot about it. Seriously, do not eat here just because the queue is always very long. You do not want to pay that amount of money for food like this.

Typical Day In My Life

Been using up all my time and energy on my new webstore over at toilntrouble.net and also trying to complete customers' orders for garters as fast as I can. Talk about good service hehe. You wanna know what I usually do in a day, you got it. Note that, there's at least 1 day in a week that I actually do all of this stuff (getting orders done, watch a movie, eat at a cafe/restaurant, etcetc), it's like a weekly ritual LOL.

So I'll be up early in the morning and check to see if there are any garter orders to be completed. If there are, I'll wash up and get straight to work. Once I'm done with the orders, I will start designing some new harness to be listed on my etsy. At least one design every week but I do not list ALL of them. Only some that I really like, for example the heart ring garter at the top of this post. Been getting quite a few custom requests for this so I might as well get it up.

*Update* Ps, sorry for lack of photos.

Wanted to eat at 18 Chefs for late lunch but I was late so we ended up catching 47 Ronin instead. I'm a movie junkie and honestly, when I read all the good reviews about the movie, I was expecting much more. The movie was so draggy and sad, guess it's just not the type of movies I'm into. Oh and also, I was pretty pissed with 18chefs because I tried to called them over TWENTY TIMES to make a reservation and it's just "user busy" "user busy" all the way argh.

Ended up at Clarke Quay and we were both famished. I had a huge craving for western/italian food and the first restaurant we saw, the prices was "horrible", $42 for rib-eye. Yeah I THOUGHT it was expensive but as we went down the row, the price for the same dish went up to $68 I almost cried. Was on the brink of giving up and just head to burger king but decided to give AquaNova a try. A plate of Rib-eye (Medium Well) with the yummiest mashed potato cost $38 and the service was pretty good too, food was served in less than 15minutes and was piping hot.  I had the Stuffed Chicken Roulade and it was equally good but they did not include the asparagus as said on the menu

In conclusion, Aquanova is a really good place to chill with friends on weekends. Prices are cheaper compared to other bars at Clarke Quay and they provide really good service. Plus, Kumar will be there on Christmas at 7.30 so you can expect me there again :P

Merry Christmas in advance!!

Witching Hour

Been pretty busy with my new webstore lately so as usual, I left my blog pretty much dead. The sweet people from NeverFullyDressed sent me this gorgeous black dress to style. I absolutely love bell sleeves and the slit on the sleeves makes your arms look so much thinner. Also, the dress is lined so it's not sheer at all but not too warm which is suitable for me to walk around in, in SG.

Was supposed to do my usual ootd shoots but the photographer was late so we only managed a couple of shots over at MBS and went to Fort Canning for a night shoot which, wasn't up to my expectations. BUT, since it's already done, I'll just wait patiently for the photos. Top 2 pics were edited by Ben while bottom two was redited by yours truly.

Anyway, look details was inspired by American Horror Story Coven. I love black and when I saw the new season my eyes went *.* I love black and I always go out with 1 black clothing either top, bottom or shoes. 7/10 of my shoes are black too :P So I decided to go all black and it turned out pretty well!
